About the Practice
The podiatry practice of Andy is a well-established, privately owned clinical practice with more than three decades of experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of foot conditions. The practice is committed to delivering high standards of professional podiatric care, combining clinical expertise with a patient-centred approach.
Two Locations, One Team
The practice operates from two conveniently located branches in Plumstead and Sea Point, providing accessible care to patients across the community. Andy is supported by Lara, an experienced podiatrist who shares the same commitment to thorough clinical assessment and high-quality patient care. The practice is managed by Karen, our friendly, patient, and highly efficient practice manager, who ensures that appointments, communication, and patient support are handled smoothly and professionally.
Our Approach to Care
Patients of all ages are welcomed into a calm and professional clinical environment where careful attention is given to accurate diagnosis, clear communication, and individualised treatment planning. The aim is to ensure that every patient receives appropriate and effective care in a setting that is both supportive and respectful.
What We Treat
The practice provides comprehensive general podiatry services, including the treatment of calluses, corns, fissures, verrucas, and ingrown toenails including nail surgery. Paediatric podiatry and the assessment and management of biomechanical conditions form an important part of the practice, with modern customised prescription orthotics used to support improved foot function and comfort. The practice also offers specialised laser treatment for fungal toenail infections.
Diabetic Foot Care & Advanced Wound Management
Our practice has a special interest in the prevention, assessment, and management of diabetic foot complications. Through comprehensive diabetic foot assessments, early intervention, and patient education, we aim to reduce the risk of ulceration and prevent serious complications. Working alongside our Advanced Wound Care Nurse, we provide specialised treatment for diabetic foot ulcers, including Total Contact Casting (TCC) where appropriate. Our primary goal is limb preservation, and we believe the best outcomes are achieved through a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
